Next week, we are going rock climbing at Open - a youth centre on Bank Plain in the City Centre. You can see a map of where their venue is here. They have the tallest climbing wall in Norfolk, plus a cafe and gaming area to enjoy after we finish climbing at 7pm. Please make sure you either bring a drink with you, or enough money to buy a drink as climbing is very thirsty work!
There isn't any parking nearby. There is a small drop-off layby opposite Willim H Brown estate agent - we will be waiting here on the edge of London Street (pedestrianised street) from 5.40pm until 5.55pm for youths to meet us here (you can drop them off using the layby). We will also wait here from 8pm for parents to pick up afterwards. It will cost £2.50 per youth. |

We finally have our new event programme for October to December 2011! You can download a copy off our website here.
The event ideas we got from everyone at the AGM was very good, we've tried to include them where possible. Some event ideas we can't do in the winter, so hopefully we can do them next year, when the weather gets warmer again. |

Unfortunately, due to low numbers, we had to cancel tomorrow's swimming event.
Next week we have games night, please let us know if you/your child can or can't make it. This is so we know numbers when planning games for the evening.
Many thanks NDYC team. |

We are pleased to announce our latest event programme, for July to September 2011, and that we are also going to be opening every week during the Summer! There are lots of exciting new activities to look forward to, including a trip to the air control tower at Norwich Airport, as well as some dizzying activities at a height on the high ropes and abseiling tower!
We look forward to seeing you there!

Please see our download page for our new spring programme from April to June. We have decided to reduce club opening times to every 2 weeks throughout the school term period. The reason behind this is because we don't have enough volunteers to help out. This is a trial to see how it gets on, so we might come back to opening on a weekly basis, if we have more volunteers help in the future.
During the school holidays, we hope to open the club weekly (subject to volunteer availability). Please remember to tell other people who may be interested in joining NDYC :)

We have decided to CLOSE youth club tomorrow evening, Thursday 2nd December. Recent weather forecasts show that Norwich will be expecting snow throughout the day tomorrow, with extremely low temperatures. We are concerned that roads around Norfolk will be bad, especially later in the evening after youth club has finished. We therefore feel it would be safer to cancel the evening.
We hope to meet next week, 9th December for swimming as originally planned, providing the roads are clear and more safe. We will provide an update on this website next week when it is more clear what the weather forecast is likely to be. |
